The wife of Bobby Burchfield, an ethics lawyer for the Trump Organization has been arrested after allegedly having sex with an inmate in a car.

The 53-year-old Teresa Burchfield was arrested on Tuesday outside the Adult Detention Center in Fauquier County, Virginia.

A criminal complaint says that she and a 23-year-old inmate were having sex outside the Adult Detention Center when they were caught by a deputy, according to the Fauquier Times. She is charged with misdemeanor unauthorized delivery to a jail

The unidentified 23-year-old inmate, on “trustee status” and allowed to do work outside his center, had allegedly been meeting with Burchfield for a month, and was found with cigarettes, clothes and other “unauthorized articles alleged to have been obtained from the female,” according to the Times.

Teresa Burchfield’s lawyer refused to comment on Thursday afternoon.

Her husband Bobby Burchfield is a longtime GOP lawyer who is listed as chairman for Crossroads GPS, an advocacy group connected to the Bush administration’s Karl Rove.

He was brought on by the Trump Organization earlier this year to advise against conflict of interest after the President put control of his business with his sons.
