Donald Trump wanted Dave Weigel, a Washington Post reporter, to from the previous day about the crowd that showed up for Trump’s Florida rally.
However, the apology wasn’t enough for Trump.
The tweet that got the president upset was a picture of the rally venue mostly empty with a remark from Trump stating the venue was “packed to the rafters.”
After another journalist pointed out his mistake, the reporter deleted the tweet. But his tweet reached Trump and he unleashed an attack on Weigel.
Weigel responded to Trump’s tweet and admitted he was wrong and apologized.; “Sure thing: I apologize. I deleted the photo after told me I’d gotten it wrong. Was confused by the image of you walking in the bottom right corner.”
But his apology wasn’t enough for Donald Trump and he called on Weigel to be fired; “Weigel of the Washington Post just admitted that his picture was a FAKE (fraud?) showing an almost empty arena last night for my speech in Pensacola when, in fact, he knew the arena was packed (as shown also on T.V.). FAKE NEWS, he should be fired.”
Weigel’s tweet comes after CNN misreported that Trump and his son had access to the WikiLeaks emails before they were made public.
There was also another story by ABC News that was retracted about Friday’s rally.
Hopefully be death. So they can put him out of his misery. He has the worst record of stating fake news. He likes ping pong when he flip flops. LIES LIES LIES LIES He should be impeached with all his lies.
WHAT A JOKE,HE DOESN’T KNOW ANYTHING BUT LIES…HE IS A SICKENING SLOB..THAT NO ONE IN THEIR RIGHT MIND CAN STAND.
